Luau Graduation Party
Luau-themed parties are always a blast, so why not combine a luau and a graduation party to make a luau gradauation party? A graduation luau is great for many reasons, mainly the weather often cooperates during graduation season. With the hot sun and the pool open, transform your backyard into a Hawaiian getaway to celebrate your grad!
Here are some festive luau graduation party ideas:
- Invitations: Queue guests in on the luau theme with your free graduation invitations. Choose an invitation design that evokes a luau vibe. Punchbowl, for example, offers luau themed designs. You can even customize your envelope with an "Aloha" rubber stamp!
- Attire: Encourage guests to wear Hawaiian shirts, straw hats, coconut bras, and grass skirts. You can hand out beautiful multi-colored leis to guests as they enter the party as well.
- Decorations: Luaus are one of the most fun themes to decorate. Choose an outdoor space like your backyard as the party spot. Use blow up palm trees and tiki torches on the outside perimeter of the yard. Then, cover tables with grass shirts (instead of traditional table skirts).
- Music & Menu: Set the tone with music from Jimmy Buffet and make sure to provide some of Jimmy’s favorites: cheeseburgers, grilled shrimp, and of course margaritas for the adults.
